This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting by Norfolk, Connecticut-based artist John Funt entitled September , 2025. Featuring a vintage wood frame chosen by the artist specifically for the painting. From the artist: "I love late season flowers and shrubs in my garden and have created a painted bouquet called 'September,' made up of mostly hydrangeas, zinnias, dahlias, globe thistles and hosta leaves. I add Queen Anne's lace from my walks along the road and try to put it all in a 'bottle' to be opened in winter. The strong pink backdrop of satiny silk and bright yellow vase reflect my joy in arranging it all."
